MMA Pro Fighter!

If your into Extreme fighting then you may like this game app. You create a fighter and then train, buy skills and fight for experience and cash. There is also a League where you can try and come out in top of your rivals.

At first I was not impressed with the game. After signing up I would get a pop up asking me to allow emails from the game. Accept or decine, I would decine and every page I went to it would pop up again asking the same question. Finally I accepted and it no longer came up each page. Can't say I like having no real choice over the matter, but have not received any e-mails from them after a week.

I have to say the game is somewhat addicting and there is a surprising amount of features to the game. The graphics are good and you get a play by play when fighting your opponent. Despite harassing you for e-mail permission I have to say I like this game app overall.

New Facebook Privacy Settings! Warning!

Facebook is at it again SHARING your personal information. Now any app can use your info on other websites to advertise. Despite complaints about security issues they turn around and do this. They overlook the wrongness of it by adding a new privacy setting where you can decline to have your info shared on external sites.

Its called "Instant Personalization" that shares data with non-facebook websites and it is automatically set to "Allow." Go to Account > Privacy Settings > Applications and Websites and uncheck "Allow"--it's at the bottom of the page I believe.

Obviously another way for Facebook to make cash from advertisors which I don't mind them doing, but keep it within reason. I find it a little underhanded to have it set to ALLOW so your sharing your info automatically. If they cared about us more than making a buck they would have the option set to DISALLOW and let us make the choice on whether to allow it or not.

I still think Facebook is great, but the way it handles its members private info is disgusting and they have lost a lot of my respect. Sure many of the apps are professional and honest, but out of thousands of apps, there are bound to be more than a handfull that are not.

So be warned. Check your security settings and if your concerned about your personal info I suggest not allowing this option.
